Hickman S. “Bud” Ridley, Jr., age 65, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his residence. He was a member of Kidwells Ridge Baptist Church and was a truck driver for most of his life. He was active in the community and had a passion for politics. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hickman S., Sr. and Roxie Hazel Ridley. He is survived by his sons, Richard (Cheri) Ridley and Thomas Ridley; daughter, Chelsea Ridley; grandchildren, Tripton and Piper Ridley; sisters, Shirley Gates, Glenda Belcher, Lois Gosdin, and Ella (Sterling) Trent; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of choice.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
