Howard Eddie Kilgore, age 64, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Kilgore Plumbing for over forty years. He was a loving, kind, and selfless husband, father, and Papaw and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kilgore; parents, Howard and Betty Jean Kilgore; brother, Grayland Kilgore; father and mother-in-law, Cecil Howard Sims, Sr. and Gladys Opal Sims; niece, Juleah Belle Buffalo; and brother-in-law, Randy Buffalo. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Greg) Ivey; son, Ryan (Ashley) Kilgore; grandson, Hunter Alan Ivey; sisters, Alechia Buffalo and Velina (Larry) DeVault; special family friends, Misty (Eddie) Wallen and their children, Kadin, Braden, and Reagan and Pam Thacker; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Jack Jenkins, Rev. Larry DeVault, and Rev. T.H. Ferrell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 14 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
