Hubert Daniel Masoner

Hubert Daniel Masoner, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church and was retired from the Morristown Water System after forty-two years. He also was a part-time deputy for the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Department. Hubert was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and loved gardening and was a general all-purpose handy man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Masoner; daughter, Sandra Masoner; parents, William and Dona Mae Masoner; brothers, Bill, James, and J.C. Masoner; sisters, Pearl Drinnon and Sue Dixon; and daughter-in-law, Suzi Masoner. He is survived by his children, Linda Carroll, Terry (Roy) Smith, Steve (Rhonda) Masoner, and Jeff (Beth) Masoner; grandchildren, Kevin (Kelley) Carroll, Korey Carroll, Lindsey Coffey, Sean Collins, Chad (Missy) Collins, Joshua Smith, Noah (Kristin) Smith, Faythe Smith, Morgan Masoner, Shelby Masoner, Allissa (Jeff) Carr, Jared Masoner, and Connor Ottinger; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Arnetta (Alfred Mac) McDaniel. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, July 21st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dale Carey and Rev. Brad Harbin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22nd at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Enterprise Baptist Church Building Fund.
