James "Luke" Luther Woodard

James Luther “Luke” Woodard, age 85, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Heritage Center. He was a member of the Morristown Pentecostal Assembly Church and was retired from Morristown Parks and Recreation. He was loved by many and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Cora Woodard; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Nancy Woodard; daughters, Debbie (Jackie) Crider and Sarah (Erich) Morgan; grandchildren, James “Dusty” Crider, Jodie Crider, Allan Rogers, and Nathan Rogers; great-grandchildren, Clay, Colin, and Lucas Crider; and sister, Mary Woodard. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday, July 2 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Pentecostal Assembly. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
