Jessie Mae (Hayes) Stubblefield

Jessie Mae Stubblefield, age 71, of Mooresburg, formerly of Morristown, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harm and Ola Hayes; daughter, Sandra Carpenter; and brother, Ronnie Hayes. She is survived by her son, Gary (Eldena) Carpenter; grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Nalley and Josh West; great-grandchildren, Hailee Nalley, Samara Nalley, and Shaun Nalley; brother, Bill Hayes; sisters, Faye Seals and Brenda Jarnagin; special friend, Shirley Brooks; and ex-husband, J.C. Carpenter.  The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Travis Bowden officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
