Jewell (Ayers) Riggs

Jewell Ayers Riggs, age 69, formerly of Tennessee, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 in Anderson, South Carolina. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carson Riggs; parents, James Monroe and Ella Louise Ayers; brother, James Esco Ayers; and sister, Carol Jean Campbell. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Denise Riggs, Trassa Renea Brown, and Kassandra Jewell Smith; seven grandchildren; brother, Lonnie Ray Ayers; and sisters, Carrie Louise Stubblefield and Patricia Gail Banister. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, May 17th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
