Johnny Shields Dalton

Johnny Shields Dalton, age 62, of Mohawk, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He worked for Clayton Mobile Home’s for thirty-eight years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shields and Melvina Dalton; son, Tolbert “Todd” Dalton; and several sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. Dalton of Mohawk; sons, Greg (Venessa) Dalton of Morristown and Johnny, Jr. (Tiffany) Dalton of Mosheim; grandchildren, Alainee Dalton, Cayla Dalton, Andrew Dalton, Anna Dalton, Landon Dalton, and Aaden Dalton; daughter-in-law, Crystal Dalton; brothers, Jay (Vicki) Dalton, Doug Dalton, and Tony (Becky) Dalton; sisters, Naomi Maples and Linda Coffey; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, March 1st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2nd at the funeral home with Rev. Fletcher Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Dalton Cemetery in Thorn Hill. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
