Johnny Evans, Jr., age 47, of Morristown, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Smith. He is survived by his parents, Hazel (James) Shiflet; son, Johnathan Evans; daughter, Faith Evans; grandson, Reyes “Chulz” Evans; sisters, Sherry Hightower and Donna Munsey; nephew, Justin Jones; and niece, Haley Jones. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Monday, November 26 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Junior Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
