Larry Weaver

Larry Weaver, age 68, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Larry was a longtime builder in the Morristown area and was the Home Builders Association “Builder of the Year” in 1985. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Watson and Zelda Marie Weaver; father-in-law, John Williams; brothers, Ronnie, John, and Marty Weaver; and sister, Doris Ward. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Linda Weaver; daughters, Laura Weaver of Morristown and Lisa (Randy) McDonald of Nashville; grandchildren, Trystan, Mason, Curtland, Braxon, and Jace; brother, Mike (Diana) Weaver of Bean Station; sister, Dianna (Ron) Whaley of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Lois Williams of New Tazewell; brother-in-law, Steve (Loretta) Williams of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. John Turner and Rev. Shane Pierce officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26 at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
