Mabel Lois Wilder, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Heritage Center. She was a faithful member of Noe’s Chapel United Methodist where she was actively involved in singing in the choir and the W.M.U. Mabel was a faithful employee for Masengill, McCrary, and Gregg for over fifty years. Friends will remember her kindness and dedication to the job. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Lee Wilder; parents, Orville J. and Lillie Belle Helton; and brothers, James O. Helton and John C. Helton. She is survived by her sisters, Judy H. (Bill) Blackburn and Alice H. Swann; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, April 16 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Josh Felton and Rev. Meg Taylor officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services.
