Mary Marsh Ailshie, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her residence. She was a charter member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was very active in many other ways as long a her health aloud. She retired from Mitchell-Hodge Electric after over thirty-five years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Tom Marsh, Jr.; brother, Willis Marsh; sister, Melinda Hanna; and grandson, Justin Wisecarver. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Lyle Harry Ailshie; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Fred Nolen; grandsons and their spouses, Jason and Samantha Pitts and Jeremy and McKinley Pitts; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Snyder; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Gemma Marsh; sister-in-law, Joan Marsh; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ivan and Bille Jo Hazelwood, George and Marie Ailshie, Glenn and Betty Ailshie, Laura Lyle and Scotty Ailshie; and a multitude of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 at Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will follow at 8 p.m. at the church with Dr. Keith Mowery and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
