Mary "Kate" Mann

Mary “Kate” Mann was born on November 15, 1941, in White Pine, Tennessee and departed this earth on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at her residence. Kate was a faithful member of Cherokee Hills Baptist Church for over thirty years.  She retired from Lear Seating Corp. in 2003 after twenty-one years of employment.  Kate was well known for her warm smile and gracious heart.  Neighbors, friends and family counted on Kate’s warm smile to brighten even the darkest hour.  As much as she loved her friends, family and pets, these pale in comparison to the love she had for her heavenly Father.  She was a devout Christian and a dedicated friend to many. Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Mann; her parents Albert and Ruth Lawless; her sister Betty Rathbone and her brother, Charles Bo Arwood. Kate is survived by her son Michael (Jenny) Mann, Grandsons Matthew and Hayden Mann; her care giver and special companion of thirty-seven years, Tom Derry; her sister, Lois Cutshall and her special cousin, Dorthy Brown along with several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends form 5-7 pm on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm on Friday with Dr. Nathan Livingston officiating. Family and friends will meet for an 11 am graveside services on Saturday, January 27th at Jarnagin Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
