Mildred Elizabeth (Davis) Hayes

Mildred Elizabeth Hayes, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a beloved mother and wife who will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Effie Mae Davis; daughter, Lisa Young; sister, Charlotte Dunlap; and brothers, Wayland Davis and Charles Davis. She is survived by her husband, Billy Hayes; daughter, Tammy Hayes; sons, Paul (Donna) Hayes, Greg Hayes, and Tim (Sandy) Hayes; grandchildren, Laura Young, Michael Hayes, Elizabeth Harmon, Dustin Gilbert, Kelsey Gilbert; great grandchildren, Jaylen, Liza, Easton, and Joshua Jr.; and sisters, Betty Quinn, Mary Dickenson, and Rhoema Davis. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, January 3rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Janie Fox and Laura Young officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4th at Bethesda Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
