Myrtle M. Boatright, age 89, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at Life Care of Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, Sidney Boatright; also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. She was a native of Claiborne County and at the age of twelve, she was saved at Grissoms Island Baptist Church. She has been a member of Calvue Baptist Church since 1958. She is survived by her son, Ray (Becky) Boatright; daughter, Marie (Ronnie) Byrd; grandchildren, Emily (Greg) Loggans and Jason (Amanda) Byrd; and great-grandchildren, Hayley Loggans and Garrett Loggans. The family gives special thanks to the staff and the residents of Life Care Center in Jefferson City for all their support. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Sonny Davis officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 19 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
