Myrtle Francis Russell

Myrtle Francis Russell, age 83, of Bean Station, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bubby Russell; parents, Noah and Naomi Russell; daughter, Norma Coffey; step-children, Stacey Russell, Dorothy Collins, and Robert Russell; great-granddaughters, Summer and Autumn Atkins; and sisters, Margaret Louise Russell and Nannie Hollifield. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Debbie) Russell, Michael Russell, and Roger (Lynette) Russell; daughter, Karen “Shorty” Russell; step-sons, Scotty (Christie) Russell and Bill (Kathy) Russell; step-daughters, Lisa (Pete) Russell, Lois Austin, and Faye Mallicoat; brother, Johnny Russell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, whom she dearly loved; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Betty. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12th at Bean Station First Baptist Church with Rev. Truman Coffey and Rev. Clayton Coffey officiating. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Dalton Cemetery in Bean Station. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
