Nip Anderson Newman

Nip Anderson Newman, age 84, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oam and Lena Ruth Newman; and son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Pearlie Newman. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Willie Nell “Pete” Newman; son, Buddy (Connie) Newman; grandson, Chad (Amber) Newman; sister, Agnes Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, July 2 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
