Oma Drinnon, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church and was retired from Morristown-Hamblen High School West as a cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gillis and Ader Reed; son, Bobby Drinnon; daughters, Suzi Masoner and Shelia McNabb; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Johnnie Drinnon; son, Roger Drinnon; grandchildren, Justin (Kasey) Drinnon, Josh (Jessica) McNabb, Natalie (Terrell) Minor, Tiffany (Dave) Hilton, Eric Drinnon, Allissa (Jeff) Carr, Jared Masoner, Sarah Ann Drinnon, and Ayden Drinnon; and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, December 30th at Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Robby Drinnon and Dr. Keith Mowery officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, December 31st at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
