Oma Drinnon, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church and was retired from Morristown-Hamblen High School West as a cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gillis and Ader Reed; son, Bobby Drinnon; daughters, Suzi Masoner and Shelia McNabb; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Johnnie Drinnon; son, Roger Drinnon; grandchildren, Justin (Kasey) Drinnon, Josh (Jessica) McNabb, Natalie (Terrell) Minor, Tiffany (Dave) Hilton, Eric Drinnon, Allissa (Jeff) Carr, Jared Masoner, Sarah Ann Drinnon, and Ayden Drinnon; and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, December 30th at Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Robby Drinnon and Dr. Keith Mowery officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, December 31st at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Buffalo Trail Baptist Church building fund. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
