Peggy (Britt) Wigle

Peggy B. Wigle, age 84, formerly of Silver Spring, Maryland and Greeneville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2018 at Regency Retirement Village in Morristown.  She retired from the Federal Government in 1989 and she moved to Greeneville, so she could “see the mountains”.  Peggy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Greeneville and throughout her life, she was an avid landscape gardener and provided a loving home to many pets.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Gordon S. Wigle, daughter Elizabeth (Ginger) Utermoehlen Hill of Washington, DC, sons Frank L. Utermoehlen, of Hancock, Maryland and James R. Utermoehlen, of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, and step-daughter Kristina (Wigle) Pinette, of LaPorte, Indiana; ten grandchildren and step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Services will be private. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
