Phyllis "Pete" Ann (McKinney) Smith

Phyllis Ann “Pete” Smith, age 73, of Talbott, joined her Heavenly family on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence following a brief battle with cancer. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Pete was preceded in death by her grandson, her life, Bradley Campbell; parents, Norma and Lou McKinney; sister, Patricia Dickerson Musser; and nephew, Travis Shults. Pete is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith; son, Jim (Tammy) Campbell; sisters, LaVonda Knight, Glenda (Doug) Hensley, and Joyce “Jodi” Shults; nieces and nephews, Sandra Brooks, Sharon Cloer, Randy Knight, Sami Scarlett, Beth Cox, Johnny Scarlett, Brian Hazelwood, Cindy Anderson, Donald Hazelwood, Wendy Payne, Preston Smith, and each of their spouses; and special great-nephews, Johnathan “J.J.” Jones and Ryan “Bubba” Golden. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23 at Economy United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
