Una Mae (Whitt) Guinn-Sheetz

Una Mae Whitt Guinn Sheetz, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at her granddaughter’s home in Newport. She was a member of Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacey Payne Guinn; parents, Newton and Eva Whitt; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Gary Brown, Ronnie Brown, and Steve Brown; daughter, Betty (Billy) Bailey; grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Tosha Brown, Jeffery Bailey, Gregory Bailey, and Brandon Brown; several great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Henry Whitt; and ex-husband, Bobby Brown. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 9th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10th at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Porter officiating. The body will lie in state from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Sartain Springs Church Cemetery.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
