Van Douglas Frasher, age 76, of Talbott, loving and faithful husband, daddy, and granddaddy, left his earthly home to live with Jesus on Thursday, December 6, 2018. He leaves a legacy of love with his wife of fifty-four years, Jacqueline Alford Frasher; daughters, Leslie Frasher Williams and Nicole Frasher Misterly and husband, Kenneth Misterly; and grandchildren, Michaela Ruth-Caroline Williams, Whitney Olivia Williams, Maggie Marie Misterly, and Duncan Frasher Misterly. Born February 2, 1942 in Waynesboro, Virginia, Van married Jacqueline in 1964, then went on to attend Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He then began a twenty-five year career with the Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, CT. Upon his retirement, he and his wife returned to their beloved South and have lived in Talbott, Tennessee for the last twenty-two years. Van was a faithful deacon at Morristown Church of Christ, a body of believers he cherished as family. He leaves a legacy of love, faithfulness, dedication, and integrity with all who were privileged to know him. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 8 at Morristown Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations t0 either: Morristown Church of Christ, 1408 E.
