Virgielee Greene, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a member of Montvue Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Greene; parents, James and Dorothy Owens; and sister, Leota Carter. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy (Richard) Kitts and Anna Laura (George) Holland; grandchildren, Kari (R.J.) Rothstein, Megan Kitts, George Holland, Jr., and Aaron Holland; great-grandchildren, Riley and Maddie Kitts and Gideon and Zebulon Rothstein; brother, Dairell Owens; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 8 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Westside Chapel Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
