W.B. "Grumpy" "Bob" Sherrod Obituary

W.B. “Grumpy” or “Bob” Sherrod, age 80, of Talbott, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his residence. He was a member of Circle C Cowboy Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Florrie Sherrod; brother, Curtis Sherrod; and sister, Juanita Woods. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Maxine Sherrod; children, Floyd Sherrod, Donald (Etta) Sherrod, Barbara (Bobby) Boley, and Walter (Wanda) Sherrod; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his caregiver, Nicole Quinn and also to Amedysis Hospice. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
