William Howard “Ike” Bailey, age 79, of Talbott, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was an avid fisherman and was retired from American Bakery after forty-three years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Golden Bailey; and sisters, Ann Wice, Kathleen Fennell, and Sue Krohn . He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Edna “Marie” Bailey; daughters, Trish (Jess) Trent of Russellville and Kim Bailey of Clarksville; grandchildren, Mitchell (Kalee) Trent, Jessica Trent, and Aspen Reed; great-grandchild, Brilee Farrow; one future great-grandson, Farrow; one great-granddaughter, Trent; brother, Robert Bailey of Knoxville; sister, Betty Williams of Rutledge; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, August 9 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Horace Jones and Rev. Charlie Brewer officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 10 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Trent, Mike Wice, David Lively, Marty Wice, Andrew Wice, and Travis Wice. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
