Albert Jack Daniels, age 80, of Morristown, passed away at his residence with his son holding his hand on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He retired from Old Dominion receiving the million mile safety award after driving 1,728,000 miles. He was known and respected, along with his brother Johnny, at Daniel’s Service Station on Cumberland for many years prior to his career at Old Dominion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Daniels; son, Michael Landon Daniels; brothers, Wayne, Johnny, and Lynn Daniels; and brother-in-law, Benny Hodges. He is survived by his son, Jackie Daniels; daughter, Angela Daniels Lacy (Charles “Doc” Lacy); grandchildren, Morgan Daniels, Leaha Daniels, Little Jack Daniels, Diondia Lacy, Darius Lacy, and Kenadi Lacy; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewel McIntosh and Brenda Hodges; nephews and nieces, Ricky Daniels, Kenny Daniels, Randy Daniels, Sherry Daniels, Kim Hodges, and Ben Hodges; sister-in-law, Sue Daniels; and special long-time family friend and caregiver, Krystal Coffey Floyd. The immediate family held a small, private, tasteful, and intimate graveside in his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Daily Bread.
