Alice "Shan" Ann (Wolfe) Reece

Alice Ann Wolfe Reece, known by family and friends as “Shan,” age 80, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Heritage Center. She was born in Whitesburg on December 25, 1939 to the late Charles Lester and Marie Grace Gose Wolfe, formerly of Claiborne County. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Morristown and the owner of The Book Shelf in Morristown for thirty two years. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Earl Reece; son, Charles Earl Reece; daughter, Kaveana Renai Reece Lewis; grandchildren, Brandon Allen Reece, Caylan Earl Reece, Jordan Dale Lewis, and Sara Machele Lewis; and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff, especially Jane Susong of Heritage Center who took care of her during her seven years as a resident. They would also like to thank the ladies who, over the last six years, helped with feeding her at lunch time, Teresa, Ann, Jeanie, and Linda. The family would also like to thank everyone for all their prayers and thoughts throughout the last seven years. Friends may pay their respects at the visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October14th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 3:30 p.m. following the visitation at Sunderland Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Perry Davis officiating. The family respectfully request mask be worn and social distancing be practiced when attending visitation or graveside service.
