Anna Katherine (Pierce) Breeden

Anna Katherine Breeden, age 78, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church and loved singing in the choir. Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Breeden; second husband, Paul Petree; parents, Verlin and Lilly Pierce; brother, Fred Pierce; and sisters, Linda Ridenour and Mary Petree. She is survived by her daughter, Christie (David) Duncan; grandchildren, Ashley (Weston) Holt and Christopher (Amy) Duncan; great-grandchildren, Anna Grace Holt and Gavin and Aiden Duncan; brother, Glen (Kay) Pierce; sisters, Rosa (Richard) Hatmaker, Cathy (Ray) Graham, and Bea Breeden; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, January 13th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ken Cole and Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 14th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
