Argline (Nichols) Moyers

Argline Nichols Moyers, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home in Rutledge. She was born on March 13, 1934 in Sneedville. Argline and her husband, Orville, worked for the Hamblen County School System at Fairview Marguerite School for twenty-six years as custodians. She loved to garden and plant flowers and loved the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Lee Moyers; parents, Charlie and Virgie Kinsler Nichols; brothers, Eckel Nichols and George Nichols; sisters, Lois Roberts and Thelma Baker; and brother-in-law, Otis Murrell. She is survived by her son, Billy Lee (Donna) Moyers, Sr.; grandchildren, Brandon (Jessi) Moyers, Stephanie (Duke) McBee, Jessica (Shawn) Moyers, B.J. Moyers, and Jasmine Moyers; and siblings, Hubert (Mary) Nichols, Gert (Ralph) Brewer, Bobbie Nichols, Marilyn Murrell, Lizzie Fraliz, Shelvie Burke, and Molly Duncan; sister-in-law, Sarah Nichols; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing home for their care and support. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday, June 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Haase officiating. Interment will follow at Dover Cemetery with Rev. Gary Lawson officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
