Barbara Glendora (Brady) Golden

Barbara Glendora Golden, age 84, of Talbott, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2025. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a heart of gold. Her great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a very selfless person and never lost her spunk. She was strong in her faith and read her bible daily. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Golden; daughter, Pam Horner; parents, Clifton and Eva Mae Brady; brothers, J.C. Brady, Bill Brady, and Robert Brady; and sister, Dorothy Ford. She is survived by her daughter, Serena Darlene Hawkins; grandchildren, Ashlee (Drew) Shockley, Jaydun Hawkins, Janelle (Danny) Buchanan, and Josh Horner; great grandchildren, Ava Newman and Levy Buchanan; niece, Kathy Lewis; and many other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service on Friday, January 16th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
