Bessie Sue (Fleenor) Carter

Bessie Sue Carter, age 79, of Sneedville, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Carter; parents, Milum and Verdie Fleenor; twin sister, Betty Lou Fleenor; sisters, Elsie Kate, Callie (R.D.) Fugate, and Nina (Carl) Richardson; brothers, Henry “Dick” (Annie) Fleenor, and Willie Thomas “Bud” Fleenor; and brothers-in-law, Foye Stewart and Donald Davidson. She is survived by her sisters, Julie Stewart of Sneedville and Inez (Robert) Davidson Stiles of Cleveland, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Friday, June 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
