Bettie Ann Wright, age 83, passed away at her Bean Station home on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Bettie was born on January 10, 1943 and lived a full life as a mother, grandmother, and home to all those who entered her doors. During her working years, she was employed by American Enka and Anchor Brush Companies. In later years, she enjoyed life in her custom-built lake home, tended garden, canned vegetables, sewed many of our seams, and fellowshipped with Adriel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Ron” Wright; parents, Hal and Ruby Musser; son-in-law, Shorty Harmon; and close and dear friend Tex Jones. She was survived by her daughters, Rhonda Gregg, Lori (Trent) Smith, and Kimberly (Donny) Nelson; grandchildren, Ava Nelson and Ayden Nelson; and brother, Donald Musser. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Collins and Rev. Jerry Sexton officiating. Interment services will follow at Bean Station Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trent Smith, Donny Nelson, Ayden Nelson, Brian Roberts, Shannon Trent, and Bruce Randall. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
