Betty Collins

Betty Collins, age 65, of Morristown, formerly of Sneedville, departed this life on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Cleadus Collins; first husband, Oscar Lemons; second husband, James Collins; sisters, Lorene Glover and Arthena Gibson; and brother, Lawrence K. Collins. She is survived by her sisters, Georgia Seal and Kathy Eldridge; brother, Elmer (Delcie) Collins; children that she raised and loved as her own, Lakota Collins and Travis Johnson; caregiver and niece, Heather Collins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 27th at the Holiness Tabernacle in Sneedville with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Jason Elswick officiating. The body will lie in state from 12:30 – 1:00 prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Ferguson Cemetery in Sneedville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
