Betty Sue Greene, age 81, of Mooresburg, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Calvue Missionary Baptist Church and was saved at home at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.B. Greene; son, Michael L. Buchanan; mother, Nora Lawson; father, Rev. Ollie Lawson; and sisters, Julia Kathleen Lawson and Barbara Jean Weatherly. She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Tim) Corum and Melissa (Chris) Hall of Morristown and Connie (Jeff) Newman of Sevierville; grandchildren, Michael L. (Emily) Buchanan II, Derrick (Madison) Carter, Morgan (Zak) Davidson, and Dylan and Zachary Ramey; step-granddaughter, Katelyn (Luke) Cope; great-grandchildren, Beckett Buchanan, Oakley Buchanan, Crew Carter, and Millie Davidson; step great-grandchild, Karsyn Cope; sister, Brenda (Ted) Riner; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Lisa Morie for showing mom so much love during her sickness and also to Gentiva Hospice and Lorretta Debord for caring so much and loving mom. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, March 29th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30th at Calvue Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Bowden and Rev. Bob Zavattieri officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Rogersville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
