Betty Lucille (Frazier) Sifford

Betty Lucille Sifford, age 84, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Bible Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mable Frazier; sister, Evelyn Sifford; and brothers, Marvin Frazier and Arnold Frazier. She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Rev. Joe Sifford; children, William Joe Sifford, Jr., Sharon Merrix, Jimmy Dale (Teresa) Sifford, Donna Gammill, and Jeffery Wade (Laura) Sifford; brother, Frankie (Kitty) Frazier; sisters, Sue Jones and Margaret (Franklin) Cowley; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 5th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dale Chapman and Rev. Merrell Hedrick officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 6th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
