Betty Lucille (Clouse) Tanner

Betty Tanner, age 72, of Bean Station, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023.  She was saved at Union Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Webster County, West Virginia and was a member of Rock Haven Missionary Baptist in Bean Station.  She was preceded in death by her loving son, Matthew Tanner; her parents, Aaron and Elizabeth Clouse; brothers, Monroe Clouse, Gene Clouse, Junior Clouse, Hubert Clouse, Elmer Clouse, James Clouse, and Tommy Clouse; and sisters, Ruby Martin and Ima Gene Clouse. Betty is survived by her husband of 52 years, Darrell Tanner; son, Mark (Wendy) Tanner; daughter, Nesha (Darrell) Winstead; grandchildren, Matthew Tanner, Matty Tanner, Gavyn Winstead, Marly Tanner, and Meg Tanner; sister, Kathy Lane; brother, Paul Clouse; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that loved her dearly.  The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, August 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Justin Michaels and Rev. Lonnie Dalton officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29th at Rocky Summit Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services.   Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
