Billie Jean (Hodge) Yount

Billie Jean Yount, age 72, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Eugene “Gene” and Peggy Wanetta Hodge; brothers, Lester and Randy; and sisters, Gloria, Judy, Vicki, Patricia, and Ann. She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Charles Yount; son, Greg (Rita) Yount; daughter, Marsha (Chris) Blair; grandchildren, Jasmine (Logan) Hammer, Dallas Yount, Emma Blair, and Jake Blair; brother, Chris Hodge; sisters, Diania (James) McDaniel and Starlene Williams; special friend, Janice Arwood; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 31st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 1st at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Chuck Letterman officiating.
