Billy Ray Broyles

Billy Ray Broyles, age 81, of Morristown, a native of LaFollette, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Broyles; parents, James and Hazel Broyles; brothers, Paul, Harold, and James Jr. Broyles; and sisters, Ruby Turner, Shirley Broyles, and Delores Thompson. He is survived by his son, Billy (Shay) Phillips; granddaughter, Cindy Birkskovich; brothers, Lonnie Broyles, Sr., John Broyles, and Freddy Broyles; sister, Brenda Broyles; and thirty nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m. Saturday, August 2nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with speaker Griffin Broyles. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
