Billy Cadle, age 87, of Talbott, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 on his farm. He was a member of Talbott Baptist Church for 50 plus years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and papaw. His goal for his family was to get them all into church. “My life prospered after me and Lois started going, y’all need to go.” – Billy. He was born in Blatten Branch, KY on August 13, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Hattie Cadle; son, Darrell (3 years old); brothers and sisters, June, Josephine, Beulan, Julie, Roxie, Willard, Jean, Geraldine, Sue, and Georgia; and best friend, Wayne Watkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Deloris Cadle; daughter, Sandra Fields; son, Richard Cadle (Dawn); grandchildren, Amy (Travis) Davis, Cassandra Cadle, Jerricka (AJ) Crowe, Chanda Cadle, Whitney Cutshaw, Wyatt Cadle, and William “Parker” Cadle; great grandchildren, Lucien Pascuzzi, Dante Pascuzzi, Violet Pascuzzi, Maelee Crowe, Kayden Crowe, Lilly Monteagudo, Ryleigh Monteagudo, and Bella Cutshaw; sister, Lou Crawford, of Ohio. He thought the world of his great grandkids. He has many friends he considered family, Emy, Joe, and Mike are just a few to mention. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Wade McCullough officiating. Family and friends will meet for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service on Sunday, March 29th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
