Bobbie Majors Obituary

Bobbie Ann Majors, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Airy Methodist Church. Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cecil “Buck” and Audrey Dickerson; husband, Coy Majors; and step-son, Richard Michael Majors. She is survived by her daughters, Robyn Burchfield (Jerry Shanks) and Melissa (Bradley) Harville; grandchildren, Adam Michael (Megan) Burchfield, Eric James (Madia) Burchfield, Chloe Harville, Madelyn Harville, Miranda Harville, and Bishop Harville; great-grandchildren, Troy Keith Burchfield, Luke Adam Burchfield, Ethan Coy Burchfield, and Lincoln Grey Burchfield; brothers, Eddie (Sherry) Dickerson and Hughie (Eula Mae) Dickerson; sister, Brenda Joyce Dickerson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Gene Nelson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
