Bobbie Sellars, age 82, of Morristown, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 6, 2025 at her home of 56 years. She was employed for several years with Hamblen County School System in adult education where she fulfilled her passion of teaching adults to read. She also worked many years for TES furniture. Bobbie loved to cook for her family and friends, and you were special if you had the chance to have her famous fruitcake at Christmastime; it was a gift made with love. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, sister, and friend. She is now reunited, in Heaven, with the love of her life, Ted Sellars. We are confident they are sitting together on the front porch of Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Grace Southerland and Rev. Calvin and Agnes Helton; several brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Sellars. She is survived by sons, Tony Sellars, Tim (Dana) Sellars, and Troy (Ashley) Sellars; grandchildren, Lindsey (Joe) Wilson, John Trolinger, Tyler Sellars, Jordan Casey, Christopher Sellars, and Phoenix Juvinall; brother, Ken (Teresa) Helton, Dallas (Louise) Southerland; and sister, Helen Graybeal. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Thursday, April 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Celebration of life will follow at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of your choice in Bobbie’s name. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
