Brenda Kaye (Sunderland) Hodges

Brenda Kaye Hodges, age 78, of Morristown, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025. She attended Fair Haven Church and was retired from General Electric. Brenda loved working in her flowers. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Pug” Hodges; and parents, Eugene and Hershel Sunderland. She is survived by her son, Michael (Tina) Hodges; daughter, Teresa Hodges; grandchildren, James (Beverly) Hodges, Lindsay (Austin) Helton, and Haley Mullins; great-grandchildren, Mason Helton, Jackson Hodges, Kylie Hodges, and Emmett Young; and special cousin, Kitty Greene. Special thanks to Brittany Seal and the Caris Healthcare staff. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Don Holt officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
