Brenda Phyllis Anderson, age 79, of Bean Station, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born on June 17, 1947. Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Richard “Rick” Anderson and Junior Seals; grandchild, Sam Strange; parents, Lon and Addie Lawson; sisters, Stella Royston, Nina Trent, Goldie Depew, Imogene Lane, Margaret Purkey, and Kathy Lawson; and brothers, Johnny and Carl Lawson. She is survived by her children, Tommy (Malisha) Seals, Jennie “Lu” Seals, and Teresa (Jeff) Webb; sisters, Wanda Carroll and Faye Ferrell; grandchildren, Amber Arnold, Lindsey Hayes, Caleb Seals, Colleen Trent, and Jacob Jenkins whom she had a special relationship with; and great-grandchildren, Lillianna, Landon, and Dawson Hayes, Ansley Arnold, and Nova and Jack Trent. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Daisy Phillips for the compassionate care, kindness, and friendship that she gave to their mom and also to the nurses of Caris Hospice. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11th at Swan Creek Baptist Church in Hancock County for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
