Byron Evan Jones

Byron Evan Jones, age 64, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Byron celebrated life from September 8, 1955 to June 5, 2020. He loved and accepted everyone with an unconditional love. He is a member of the Morristown Seventh-day Adventist Church. He loved his church and served as a Deacon and Greeter for many years and loved working and witnessing for the Lord. He was loved by everyone who knew him for his sweet smile, his gentle manner and his pure innocent love and trust and acceptance of everyone. Byron is preceded in death by his brother Bradley Alan Jones. He is survived by his parents George and Pat Jones, sister Debi Jones Ratcliff (John), brother Kent Alan Jones, aunt Peggy Whitehouse, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved dog Sampson. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, June 10th at The Seventh Day Adventist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Wednesday at the church with Pastor Rick Greve and Pastor Harley Roth officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Morristown Seventh-day Adventist Church in his honor.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
