C.A. Butler, Jr., age 81, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, a World War II historian, loved to hunt, and loved the Braves and Baltimore Colts. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Kinsler Butler; parents, Clarence Andrew, Sr. and Helen Butler; brother, Ernie Butler; and sister, Penny Fox. He is survived by his son, Andrew (Clarissa) Butler; step-daughter, Lillie Kinsler (Randy) Tate; grandchildren, Braxton Butler, Savannah Butler, Garrett (Kayla) Tate, Tanner (Chandler) Tate, Chance Tate, and Karlee Tate; great-grandchildren, Camryn Tate, Keaton Tate, Ayla Tate, and Scarlett Tate; nephew, Keith Butler; and many special friends. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.
