Carrie "Beatrice" (Skeen) Hurst

Carrie “Beatrice” Hurst, age 91, of Talbott, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Lafollette Medical Center. She was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving, aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hurst; son, Robert “Bobby” Hurst; parents, Ertman Ulas and Myrtle Skeen; sisters, Thelma Long and Annie Flynn; and brothers, Samuel and Ralph Skeen. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family; and special friends and family, Opal Cameron, Jake Sartain, and Essie Hurst. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday, August 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm Friday with Rev. Tommy Sartain officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
