Cecile Carpenter Obituary

Cecile J. Carpenter, age 81, of Dandridge, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Jefferson Park Nursing Home in Dandridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Zora Smith; daughter, Debbie Tipton; brothers, Bob Smith and Claude Smith; and sister, Betty Collins. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Cookie) Tipton and Wiley “Casper” Carpenter and his former wife Paula Carpenter; grandchildren, Niki (Scott) Love, LaShay (Patrick) Roose, Tracy (Todd) Johnson, Joseph (Ali) Tipton, Charlie Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, and Zach Carpenter; several great-grandchildren; brother, Guy (Jean Ann) Smith; and sister, Carol (Danny) Lawson. The family will hold a private graveside service at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
