Cecilia J. (Bible) Lingerfelt

Cecilia Bible Lingerfelt, age 76, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Sacred Ground Hospice House. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved doing arts and crafts and gardening. She loved dogs, especially her dog, Jax. She was a very funny and witty person. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lingerfelt; parents, Adrian and Cecilia Bible; sister, Catherine Sharp; and brother, Jimmy Bible. She is survived by her daughters, Holly (Bill) Rhodes, Carri (Craig) Tootle, and Paige (Chuck) Graves; grandchildren, Ty Rhodes, Brock Rhodes, Mark Tootle, Anna Tootle, Alex Tootle, Grace Tootle, Logen Borie, Olivia Graves, and Ben Graves; special dog, Jax; and many special church and childhood friends. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m. Monday, August 5th at First United Methodist Church of Morristown. A celebration of life service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dennie Humphreys officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Sacred Grounds Hospice House at 1120 Dry Gap Pike Knoxville, TN 37918.
