Charlene Haygood

Charlene Haygood, age 62, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her residence. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Davis; niece, Inesha Haygood; aunt, Shirley Davis; and long-time partner, Alva Thompson. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Haygood Ward, Nyoka Haygood, and Tierra Haygood; sisters, Mary Ann Davis, Brenda Haygood, Judy Haygood Davis, Gracie Shelton, and Rita Shelton; brother, William Haygood; grandchildren, Dorian, Brianna, Alex, Tyrek, Hadasah, Kyjhai, and Julissa; great-grandchildren, Xavien, Imani, and Zy’Meir; god-son, Emanuel Haygood; niece, Jazz’lyn Haygood; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Justin Ward officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14th at Beth-Carr Cemetery in White Pine for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
