Charles Monroe Brockwell, age 92, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born in Newport, he lived his life in Morristown and retired from Flowers Bakery. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brockwell; parents, Rev. Cecil and Reecie Brockwell; step-mother, Leck Brockwell; infant brother and sister, Eloise and Billy C. Brockwell; and sisters, Irene (Clyde) Dockery, Alma Ruth (Charles) Gilland, and Mary (Bobby) Norton. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Reese) Conway; son, Mark (Gerri) Brockwell; brothers, D.C. (Mary Ellen) Brockwell and L.S. (Bobbie) Brockwell; sister, Elizabeth (William) White; sister-in-law, Mary (Jack) Bryant; grandchildren, Brad Conway, Kara (David) Geno, and Bryan Brockwell; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the people at Charter Assisted Living and Shalom Hospice for walking so lovingly with us on this bitter-sweet journey. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, March 17th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with his dear friend, Rev. Randy Epps officiating.
