Charles B. Damron, age 71, of Morristown, born on June 2, 1948 in Logan, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his residence. He was a member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his family that he loved dearly. Charles was a big U.T. football fan and enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball and soccer teams when they were younger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Butch” and Macil Damron. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Mary “Dolly” Damron; children, Dawn (Jon) Underwood of Jefferson City, Dana (Philip) Toby of Russellville, and Chad Damron (Shonna); grandchildren, Abreigh Nance, Bryton Underwood, Flecia Toby, Adaira Damron-Reynolds, Cade Damron, Ian Toby, and Asia and Braden Damron; brothers, Dave (Sally) Damron of Colorado and Earl (Alma) Damron of Qatar; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. Thursday, August 22nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Justin Self officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, August 23rd at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum for entombment services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
